Freelance Writer
Blog Writer and Website Content writer
If you are reading this page, then you probably want to know a little bit more about me. I think it’s important to build a good relationship when working with clients. I can only write well for you if I understand what you are about, and I think you probably feel the same way about working with me.
I live in the East of England with my husband and gorgeous rescue dog Archie. When I’m not writing, I love to be outdoors, and I love getting away in our campervan as often as possible.
I was a primary school teacher for many years, but I always loved writing as a hobby. I created lots of the content on my school’s website and started some personal blogs.
When I left teaching, I took a course as a proofreader, which really developed my technical skills in both British and US English.
I started my writing career in 2020 with an online writing agency.
I have written for so many different industries. My research is varied and interesting. I’ve written blog posts, articles, website content, landing pages, press releases and response posts. I have become an expert in using keywords for SEO, but writing is more than that. I adapt my style to the brief, and I use creativity to engage readers. Words are powerful, and I love to use them to develop the voice of the brand.
I have built up a good selection of regular clients, and I work with several excellent digital marketing agencies. I manage clients’ landing pages, product descriptions, and blog posts. If you are looking for a complete overhaul of your marketing, I will be happy to recommend one of the agencies.
For personal clients, I have proofread academic work, helped with job applications and designed presentations. It is a joy to help people do their very best.
